A string of inconsistent performances gradually affecting Chelsea in the Premier League
Recent performances shows Frank Lampard and Chelsea are heading into the land of no return. The Blues have produced a strings of inconsistent performances throughout the season.
Frank Lampard side were hugely touted to tear the Premier League apart after breaking the bank to bring in high profile players in Thiago Silver, Kai Havert, Timo Werner among other to augment the likes of Christian Pulisic and Ngolo Kante.
However, after spending more than £200 million on transfers in the summer, the Blues are yet to discover their form in the Premier League following a run of inconsistent performances.
Chelsea were on top of the Premier League standings after 11 games, however Lampard and his side now find themselves on eight position, trailing nine points from the top of the League after managing just two wins from their past eight League games.
Next up for Chelsea is a relief FA Cup encounter with Luton Town at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday, before they host Wolverhampton in the Premier League on Wednesday.
