Tottenham Hotspurs are in talks to bring in ex-Chelsea manager Antonio Conte
Antonio Conte is in talks with Tottenham Hotspurs to fill in the managerial job vacancy at the club after the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
Tottenham Hotspurs have been in search of a permanent manager since parting companies with Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho in April.
Ryan Mason was given the mantle to spearhead the club into the end of the season, guiding Spurs to finish in seventh position at the end of the campaign.
Reports from last week speculated that Tottenham are in talks to bring back Mauricio Pochettino back to the club, less than six months of taking over PSG.
Now Conte, who left Serie A Champions Inter Milan is set to take the big seat at Tottenham Hotspurs after mutually terminating his contract with Inter last month.
The ex-Chelsea boss is set to return to the Premier League after being way for three years. Conte guided Chelsea to a Premier League glory and an FA Cup success during his two years in charge.
Reports suggest there are ongoing discussions between both parties, however, there remains some distance between the two parties over the Italian wage demands.
