The English Premier League returns this weekend but which team will be crowned Champions and the race for top-four qualification

Arguably the most thrilling and entertaining League in the World, the Premier League 2020/21 campaign start this weekend. Last season witnessed one of the most scintillating campaign in the Leagues history, as Liverpool won their first-ever Premier League title, ending their thirty-year wait.

This season even promises to be more tremendous as the likes of Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all go head-to-head with Liverpool for the crown but who will end up winning the ultimate come May, 2021.

Title holders Liverpool will aim to dominate the Premier League after securing their first in last season. Klopp’s men have been brilliant over the past two seasons and everything suggests the best is even yet to come, and with how they play with telepathy winning the title is at their disposal unless the unexpected happens.

Manchester City

City finished second in the just ended season, eighteen points behind winners Liverpool, after a series of inconsistency and injuries affected their performance all season. Guardiola is aiming to conquer both domestic and Europe, and with the addition of Nathan Ake and Torres winning the Premier League is within their reach.

Following a poor start to the season in 2019, thereby firing then manager Unai Emery. The club is now under rehabilitation as new manager Mikel Arteta continues his rebuild in his first full season at the Emirates Stadium. Even though the FA Cup success and the recent victory over Liverpool in the Community Shield suggest the team is improving, however, it will take time before Arteta’s side will be considered serious title challengers, the biggest achievement for this upcoming season will be in the top four.

After losing star man Eden Hazard and serving the ban of recruiting player, coupled with Lampard’s first season, Chelsea managed to finish fourth in last seasons Premier League. And this season promises to be the light for Lampard and Chelsea, as they have made a solid seven summer signings in the areas of defence, midfield and attack. However, the Blues have one issue to address should they be considered serious for this upcoming season, the goalkeeping department. Chelsea shipped in 54 goals last season and the inclusion of Thiago Silva in the set up is not enough, as they need to have a look at the No1 position, with Kepa gradually losing confidence in the goal post.

Except Manchester United, Jose Mourinho’s second season in every club he has managed comes with a League title since he came into the limelight. The Portuguese looks set to land Tottenham their first ever Premier League title, but news from the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium doesn’t suggest any big signings as at now, however, Jose knows how to find his way out and with all to play for, everything is possible for Tottenham ahead of this campaign should star men such as Son, Kane and Ali stay fit throughout the season.

Manchester United

The inclusion of Bruno Fernandes later in the season sparked Solskjaer’s side into life following a poor run of form in the first half of last season. The Red Devils ended the season finishing third and appearing in three different semi finals [Carabao Cup, FA Cup and the Europa League]. Solskjaer’s side have been touted to compete for the title this season, aiming to lay their hands on a trophy they last won in 2013, however, Man United are still short of players needed to clinch the title come May, as goalkeeper David de Gea’s errors coupled with some mere mistakes from two center half’s Lindelof and Maguire.

My top four prediction come May 2021

1. Manchester City

2. Liverpool

3. Manchester United

4. Chelsea

Which team do you think will eventually end up winning the Premier League and your take on the top four?
