Cristiano Ronaldo is prepared for whatever comes whether staying at Juventus or being transferred
Portugal great Cristiano Ronaldo has remained silent about his future at Serie A giant Juventus following a difficult campaign.
The superstar arrived in Turin with high hopes, most especially leading the Old Lady’s to a Champions League glory following his success with Real Madrid in the competition, however things have failed to workout for Ronaldo and Juventus.
Ronaldo’s future has been uncertain as he has been strongly linked with a move to ex-club Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the 36-year-old is not bothered about what is speculating in the front pages of various newspapers, saying ‘whatever happens will be for the best‘ thus either staying in Turin with Juventus or a move away from the club.
Speaking ahead of Portugal’s opener against Hungry in the European Championship when asked about his future, he replied:
I have been playing at the highest level for many years this doesn’t faze me, maybe if I was 18 or 19 I might have had some sleepless nights, but I’m 36. Whatever comes will be for the best, regardless of staying at Juve or being transferred.
“The crucial thing now is the Euros, it is my fifth Euros, but for me it’s like my first Euros. We want to play a good match with good thoughts from the first to the last match.”
The Portuguese find themselves in a group with World Champions France, Germany and Hungry, as they look to defend the title they won some five years ago.
