The Chelsea striker has openly criticized the Blues boss for his style of play
Romelu Lukaku has revealed the style of play at Chelsea doesn’t favor him, adding he is happy at the club.
The Belgian rejoined the Blues from Inter Milan for a club record fee in the summer of 2021.
After finishing behind top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo in the Serie A goal-scorering chart.
The striker came back to Chelsea with huge hopes to augment the likes of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.
And after slotting into the setup at Stamford Bridge in the early stages of the season. Romelu Lukaku has failed to replicate his form after recovering from injury.
When asked about his current situation at the club, the striker shared his frustrations.
In an interview with Sky Sports the striker said:
“Physically I’m fine but I am not happy with the situation at Chelsea. Tuchel has chosen to play with another system. I won’t give up. I will be professional.”
“Now it’s the right time to share my feelings. I have always said that I have Inter in my heart: I know I will return to Inter, I really hope so. I am in love with Italy, this is right moment to talk and let people know what really happened,” Lukaku added.
Chelsea are currently struggling for form following a brilliant start to the season. Tuchel and his men are still in hunt to clinch the Premier League title from defending Champions Manchester City.
