Christian Pulisic hopes Chelsea will immediately bounce back after latest upset

Christian Pulisic is very much optimistic Chelsea will bounce back quickly following their recent defeat to West Brom at the Stamford Bridge.

The 22- year-old was on target as relegation threatened West Brom took all maximum points on Saturday to hand Thomas Tuchel his first defeat as a Chelsea manager.

However, the American believes the defeat is a test to their mentality, hence they need to be focused in order not to further slip along the way.

“It’s a big test of our mentality now. We’ve got some really big games coming up,” Pulisic told the Club’s Official Website.

“We’ve been in good form prior to the international break and obviously we’ve come back and lost one game. We can’t dwell on that because we have a lot to play for in both the Premier League and the Champions League. We have to recharge now, refocus and regroup and come back strong and ready for the next game.”

Chelsea are currently in contention for the FA Cup and the Uefa Champions League.
