The France international is likely to extend his stay at Old Trafford following significant additions
France midfielder Paul Pogba is open to signing a new contract at Manchester United according reports. Pogba is currently stalling on a new contract proposal from the Red Devils.
The 28-year-old is currently in the final year of his deal at Old Trafford. Man United manager earlier this Season confirmed the France international representatives are in Talks with the club over a new deal. However, up to date there is no official statement that he has committed his future to the club.
Even though a move away from United could be possible, Pogba is also likely to further extend his stay at Manchester by signing a new deal. Report indicates the midfielder is likely to sign a new deal with the Premier League giant following the additions of Ronaldo, Sancho and Verane.
The 28-year-old is eager to add trophies his game, and this summers signings suggest there light at the end of the tunnel for the Red Devils.
Pogba has a fantastic relationship with United boss, Ole Gunner Solskjear, and in his recent interview, the Man United manager revealed the Frenchman will possibly stay after massive additions to the squad.
When asked about Pogba’s current situation, Solskjaer said: “It’s up to us to get results and to prove to ourselves that we can win trophies.
“I think everyone that signs for Manchester United wants to win trophies and be part of a winning Manchester United.
“It’s the most magical feeling in the world to be part of a winning Manchester United team.”
The Frenchman is currently in the form of his life, after grabbing an unprecedented seven assists in four games in the history of the Premier League.
