Pogba welcomes international teammate following his arrival to United
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba welcomes Raphel Verane in Grand style as the duo looks to excel on club level.
The Red Devils signed Verane from Real Madrid, after agreeing a four-year deal at Old Trafford. Verane called it a time on his illustrious career in Spain.
The France International was offered a new deal at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, quest for a new challenge made him switch camp.
The Premier League giant announced the signing of Verane on Saturday, prior to their opening fixture of the 2021/22 campaign.
Following his arrival, a number of teammates have expressed their joy to play alongside the experienced defender. The latest member to do so is international mate Paul Pogba.
The France midfielder took to his official Twitter page: “Another French connection created.”
Paul Pogba played a key role as Man United made a blistering start to their 2021/22 season beating Leeds United 5-1 at Old Trafford.
The 28-year-old has less than 12 months on his current deal at Old Trafford, and reports in France claims a move to Paris Saint-Germain is being plotted.
However, his fruitful relationship with United boss Ole Gunner Solskjaer could also compel him to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
