Otto Addo Borussia Dortmund will play with Ghana legends in June

Borussia Dortmund and Otto Addo in partnership with Star FC will travel Accra

Ghana head coach Otto Addo and his former club Borussia Dortmund will travel to Accra to June as part of their African connection.

The Bundesliga side officially announced that it legends team will travel to Ghana’s capital (Accra) this summer to face African legends team.

Borussia Dortmund has been a home for most African players. Not to mention many, the likes of Victor Ikpeba, Otto Addo, Sunday Oliseh, Mohamed Zidan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have all had stint with the Yellow and Black.

As part of paying back the trust it enjoyed from African players, Dortmund is organizing a first-ever BVB Legends Ghana tour.

The club released the statement on it officially Twitter account,

“Ghana to the whole wiase!

“Borussia Dortmund is excited to announce that our #BVBLegends team, in partnership with Shooting Stars FC, will travel to Accra this summer to face off against the African Legends team!

“The visit, June 8th-12th, will also include coaching clinics, CSR activities, and a golf tournament, is capped off by the Legends match with iconic African Footballers like Asamoah Gyan, Abedi Ayew Pele, Stephen Appiah, and many more!”

The German club have fell in love with Ghana after the later handed Otto Addo an opportunity to lead the national team to 2022 Fifa World Cup.

Borussia Dortmund and Ghana have one thing in common at the moment and that is Black Stars head Otto Addo.
