Jose Mourinho has hailed the Red Devils for re-signing Ronaldo, saying it is a “perfect bisiness“
Former Red Devils boss has termed Cristiano Ronaldo transfer as a ‘perfect business’ for Manchester United.
The Premier League giant on Friday confirmed it has reached an agreement to bring Ronaldo back to England.
Ronaldo who spent six years at Old Trafford between 2003 and 2009 is set to once again join United for the second time in his career.
The 36-year-old has completed his medicals in Lisbon and is now working out on his visa as a move to United draws closer.
The five-time Ballon d’Or holder will Officially move to England once his visa is complete. He is expected to feature in Man United game against Newcastle after the international break.
When asked what he makes of Ronaldo’s move to former club Man United, Mourinho responded by saying:
“The only thing I can say and it seems basic and logical to me, if Juve are happy, if Cristiano is happy and United are happy, then it’s a perfect business.
“There’s no need to talk about Cristiano. For 20 years he has written history, there’s nothing to comment.”
The pair enjoyed a successful spell in Spain during their time at Real Madrid. Together they achieved an unprecedented record in La Liga, by finishing the 2011/12 with 100 points.
