Manchester United considering a January transfer move for Juventus duo; Mandzukic and Can

Manchester United are weighing up the possibility of bring Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic and teammate Emre Can, as Soskjear aim to bolster his squad in the Winter transfer window.

Mario Mandzukic

United made a late move for Croatia international, Mario Mandzukic at the end of the summer transfer window, after a move for his team-mate Paulo Dybala collapsed, but the deal couldn’t materialized.

Solskjaer made it clear last month that the club needs a striker; “You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know it’s a forward we’re going to try to recruit next time.” “We’re looking for some creativity and goals, but they [potential signings] have to be the right one.”– Solskjaer added.

Can and Mandzukic

Reports also claims Manchester United are in talks to sign former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, who joined Juventus a years ago, in a bid to bring some fluidity into the midfield.

Emre Can

Manchester United currently doesn’t have a recognized center forward in their squad and with the sale of Ander Herrera and Maroune Fellaini, it’s obviously clear that they reinforce in those areas if they want to achieve something this season, but is Mandzukic and Can enough to bolster the squad.
