United Being Left Behind By Rivals in the Race For The Premier League
Manchester United failure to act quickly in this summers transfer window is gradually leaving the club behind the pecking order in the race for the Premier League title.
United have been linked with a number of player this summer, but have only managed to pull just a single signature from the pool of talents they have been linked with in thie transfer market.
The Red Devils have made a single addition; Donny van de Beek to their squad and have been linked with the likes of Gareth Bale, Sergio Reguilon, Thiago Alcantara and Jadon Sancho, but recent reports show the Red Devils are on the verge missing out on the first three players with rivals in the Premier League capitalizing on United’s slumber in the transfer market.
Reports from yesterday claimed Real Madrid duo Sergio Reguilon and Gareth Bale are set to join Tottenham after a deal to sign both players was agreed in principle between Tottenham and Madrid.
And the latest player Man United are set to miss out once more this summer is Bayern and Spainish international midfielder Thiago Alcantara, with news indicating Liverpool and the Bundesliga Champions have agreed a deal in the region of €30m for the Spaniard to join the Reds on a four-year deal.
Moreover, with a deal for England international Jadon Sancho also hanging in the air, after United failed to match Dortmund’s €108m asking price for the young winger.
It is now a concern of worry for Manchester United as they are gradually falling behind rivals in the race for the Premier League title, following significant additions into their various squad.
