Manchester City complete two quick deals in the space of three days
Pep Guardiola and Manchester City have began rebuilding a resilient team as they look to conquer the 2020/21 Premier League season.
After finishing behind Champions Liverpool and with the departure of midfield mystreo David Silva and winger Leroy Sane. The clubs looks to shape it squad ahead of the coming season, signing two quick players in the space of three days.
On Tuesday, the club announced that they have reached an agreement with La Liga side Valencia for the permanent transfer of Ferran Torres for a fee of £21m.
The imminent arrival of Torres assures that the void left by Sane is now solved at the club. The 21-year-old in an interview said the City boss inspired him to join the club saying – “He congratulated me and gave me peace of mind. It calmed me down and made me want to sign even more.”
24 hours after Torres announcement, City broke yet another deal, this time around Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake.
Ake joins Manchester City from the Cherries in a deal worth around £41m. This is what he said after signing for Man City: “It a dream come true for me. They are a top club [Manchester City] with World-class players with a huge international pedigree.
