Bayern Munich manager Flick believes PSG star Kylian Mbappe will win the Ballon d’Or one day
Hansi Flick, the head coach of Bayern Munich has admitted Paris Saint-Germain star boy Kylian Mbappe has everything it takes to win the Ballon d’Or one day.
Mbappe inspired PSG to a 3-2 first leg advantage over the German Champions at the Allianz Arena, scoring twice as Pochettino’s side won the first tie of their Champions League quarter final.
Bayern Munich’s chances of progressing into the next stage of the competition lies on their ability to stop Kylian Mbappe at the Parc Des Princes, with Flick lamenting that would be extremely difficult, and further adding that he is well on his way of becoming the best player in Europe.
“He [Mbappe] will win the Ballon d’Or one day, I am absolutely convinced of that. He has everything. He is fast, has good technique and the most important thing, he scores a lot of goals.” Flick said at a pre-match press conference.
The 22-year-old is already in contention to win the Ballon d’Or this year, having played an instrumental role in PSG’s bid for silverware. His tally in this season’s Champions League is eight goals in eight games as well as 25 goals for PSG in domestic competions.
