Ghana’s skipper Andre Dede Ayew is set to join Qatari side Al Sadd after departing Swansea City
Andre Dede Ayew is set to take home a monthly salary of $220, 000 after signing a mega deal with Qatari side Al Sadd following his decision to leave Swansea City this summer.
The Ghanaian is rumoured to have agreed a whopping deal in Qatar following an announcement by the club that it has reached an agreement with the ex Marseille player.
Ayew is expected to seal the deal on Thursday, July 23 after both parties had already finished the contract, with paper works and medicals pending the transfer.
With the transfer set to be officially announced, reports indicates the 31-year-old would earn around $220,000 a month, excluding taxes.
Al Sadd broke the news on their official Twitter page that Ayew will join the club soon after failing to commit his future to English Championship side Swansea City.
Having spent about three seasons with Swansea City, becoming the club’s top scorer for the past two campaigns, the Black Stars captain is set to join Asian side Al Sadd.
There were various reports speculating that the Ghanaian would move to Scotland or Turkey, however Ayew will join ex Barcelona star Xavi’s Al Sadd in Qatar.
