Fernandes discloses he want more goals contribution to our number his appearances come the end of 2020/21 campaign

Manchester United midfield maestro Bruno Fernandes has shared the target he wants to achieve come the end of the 2020/21 season.

The Portuguese revealed he is aiming of getting more goals contribution than the number of times he will play come the end of this campaign.

Since making his debut for Manchester United in February 2019, no midfielder in Europes top five Leagues has had a hand in goals than Fernandes, scoring 17 goals and providing a further 12 assists in 27 League games.

He is currently the heartbeat of Solskjaer’s side with 14 goals involvements already this season (9 goals, 5 assists).

The figures show Fernandes is currently averaging a better goal per game contribution, and this has let him set his sights on maintaining those extraordinary standards across the season.

In an interview with the clubs official Website, :”I think I have said it before, it is easy when playing for a team like Manchester United, because you are surrounded by so many good players, who help you to be better.”

“Numbers are really good but now I need to start improving. It will be difficult from now, because players are getting to know me better day-by-day and game-by-game.” – Fernandes added

“I am really happy to have these numbers and clearly, it is not easy to get to this point with these numbers but I want to finish the Premier League this season with more goals and assists than games.”

The 26-year-old has been in fine form this season, with his performance even seeing him winning the PFA Player for the Month of November.
