Dortmund have put an eye-watering valuation on Erling Halaand
Bundesliga giant Borussia Dortmund have set the transfer for for Norway forward Erling Halaand, with interested Clubs needing €180 million to land the 20-year-old star.
Erling Halaand has been a revelation in Germany following his move from FC Salzburg, scoring 49 goals in as many games for Dortmund. He has registered 32 goals in 31 games including 10 in six Champions League games this season.
The 20-year-old only joined Dortmund in January 2020, after the German side beat Manchester United to his signature, and according to the player’s agent Mino Raiola about ten Clubs are after the his signature.
And just a year and half into life at Germany, the forward future now remains in doubt and with a release clause set to be introduced into his contract in 2022 by Borussia Dortmund, Dortmund are now asking a premium fee of €180m before losing the player.
The likes of Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid and the two Manchester Clubs are all believed to be keenly interested in signing the Dortmund starman.
