Antonio Conte and Tottenham Hotspurs have failed to reach an agreement as a deal to bring in the Italian breaksdown
Antonio Conte has major doubt about becoming Tottenham Hotspurs next manager and has inclined to turn down the offer made by the club.
It was revealed that Spurs are in talks to make Conte their head coach next summer following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in April.
However, the two parties remained standstill to agree a deal on Friday night after Tottenham learned that the Italian is reluctant to work with promising young talent at the club.
After carefully analysing the role for several days, Conte remains unconvinced Tottenham are ready to win trophies immediately.
The ex-Chelsea boss is aiming for instant success however the project at Tottenham Hotspurs isn’t feasible immediately as they would like to rely on grooming young talent to challenge for titles.
Conte is looking for another ‘winning project’ after guiding Inter Milan to their first Serie A title since winning the treble in 2010 under Jose Mourinho.
The Italian has won five League titles in the last ten years including a Premier League success with Chelsea and is looking forward to add more.
